THE SPOT ARM
GRASP, LIFT, CARRY, PLACE AND DRAG A VARIETY OF ITEMS
The Spot ARM empowers users to turn data insights into action by performing physical tasks in human-centric environments. Designed for both semi-autonomous operation and direct telemanipulation, the arm can be controlled via the Spot tablet or through the API.
With its gripper and six degrees of freedom, operators can grasp, lift, carry, place, and drag a wide range of objects. The integrated 4K RGB camera and in-gripper LED illuminator allow for detailed inspection of equipment or objects before interaction. The arm is capable of performing tasks such as turning valves, flipping levers, opening doors, and manipulating objects with constrained motion—all semi-autonomously.
Fully integrated with the Spot robot, the arm maintains balance and mobility across a variety of terrains for optimal performance. It can be mounted on your Spot robot but must be installed or removed exclusively by Boston Dynamics.
